It feels like Country to me...
Jackson Lake is a musician, performer and songwriter from Keighley, West Yorkshire currently based in Leeds. Jackson has been gradually making headway in the UK Country music scene since the release of his first album in 2015. His blend of both contemporary and classic country along with the warm and wide variety of his 20 year career as a performer result in a powerful delivery of his thoughtful and irresistibly catchy original songs of love, war, heartbreak and headache.
Ever the prolific (and hyperactive) songwriter, Jackson has released a steady stream of singles, EPs and albums which have seen him take to the stage, pub corner and the streets of towns and cities up and down the UK and Ireland.
In March 2020, amid the wasteland of a global pandemic having wiped out the world of live music, Jackson begun working remotely on some new material with producer Matt Dunwell of Assembly Point in Leeds and together they co-wrote and released a string of singles that would end up making their way across the globe to over 50 countries worldwide with "Lord Don't Let Me Fall" entering the top 5 in the iTunes Country Chart in March 2021, just in front of US country star, Luke Combs. This collaboration would result in Jackson Lake's third album "Lost & Found", successfully crowdfunded throughout the lockdown period, the album sees a definite turning point in Jackson's musical depth and songwriting abilities.
